An article in the Washington post shows the GOP government in Florida, using very weird laws, out of context even. To shut down, or ban an advertisement that is Pro Choice. A woman in the ad had a story of how she had to make a tough choice, to get an abortion, or lose her life and the unborn baby perhaps.
Honestly, the pro life folks make it sound like it is some easy peasy decision to have an abortion. A lot of time it is NOT, these women often have to make some very tough choices, and some very tough or dark times. I am pretty sure it's not the first choice most of the time, anyway, I digress, If you want to prevent women from having abortions, go talk to them, offer support, help them find an adoptive parent , there are tons of active things you could do to help them. Besides having the government force their decisions.
Anyway during this election season in Florida, an ad was being run to show what a difficult decision this was for this lady, how she could have an abortion so she could get radiation treatment, to save her life, to spend more time with her family and daughter....
But the State of Florida is threatening the TV stations running this ad. with an older law about emptying out your sewer or such, what the heck, you can not make this stuff up
so the FLORIDA GOVERNMENT IS BLOCKING A PRO CHOICE AD IN FLORIDA
HOW DOES THAT RING AGAINST THE GOPs ENDLESS (questionable) CLAIMS OF FREE-SPEECH RIGHTS WHEN SOMEONE SAYS A LASER STARTED A CATEGORY 3 HURRICANE
VOTE FOR SOMETHING ELSE THIS SEASON
